Introducing Snowgoose: A Unified Frontend for AI Models
We’re excited to announce the beta launch of Snowgoose, an open-source SaaS platform designed to make working with the latest AI models simpler and more accessible. If you’re a developer, writer, researcher, or simply an AI enthusiast curious about bringing advanced models into your daily workflows, you’ll find Snowgoose’s approach refreshing and practical.

Under the Hood: snowgander
A key part of Snowgoose’s architecture is snowgander, our open-source AI vendor abstraction package. If you’ve wanted to build your own AI applications on top of multiple providers—but hate writing duplicate connection code—snowgander is worth a look.
What does snowgander do?
- Provides a standard, TypeScript-native interface for all supported models.
- Abstracts away the differences in chat, image, and tool-call APIs between OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, and OpenRouter.
- Manages vendor capabilities, model selection, cost estimation, and configuration.
- Helps you swap vendors (or add new ones) with minimal code changes.
